Questions and answers

Short answers to what sellers ask us most.

What exactly do I get?

Each of your photos comes back annotated: numbered pins on the things to remove, clear, clean, fix, add, rearrange or relight, red zones on what should be empty, and one thing to keep. For each room you get what buyers notice first and a tip to retake the photo. Then the 10 actions that matter most across your home, ranked by impact and cost, and a shopping list with its total. You receive a private web page, a PDF and a ZIP of annotated photos.

Can I see something before paying?

Yes. Once your photos are uploaded, ask for the free preview: our AI pins your first room in about 20 seconds, with the same engine as the paid plan. You pay only if you like what you see.

How does it work?

An AI model with vision (Claude, by Anthropic) looks at each photo the way a home stager would on a consultation visit and returns the position of each pin with what to do. Our software then checks every answer, draws the pins on your photo, prices the shopping list from a fixed table of typical US retail prices, ranks the actions and lays out your plan.

How long does it take?

Usually a few minutes; we say about 15 minutes to be safe. A real 6-room plan took under 2 minutes. You get an email when it is ready, and the files also appear on your order page.

What photos should I take?

One photo per room, from a corner at chest height, lights on and blinds open, the way a listing photographer would shoot it. The living spaces, the kitchen, the primary bedroom, the bathrooms and the front of the house matter most. Phone photos are perfect.

What is the difference between the two plans?

Room-by-room covers up to 12 photos. Whole house covers up to 30, tells you in which order to upload your photos to the listing and which one to use as the cover photo, and includes a recheck: within 30 days, send your after photos and get a new pinned review of what is still left to do.

Is a home stager not better?

A professional home stager sees things a photo cannot show and can bring furniture. A consultation usually costs a few hundred dollars. Stagenote is for sellers who want a clear, room-by-room to-do list today, from their own photos, for a fraction of that.

What happens to my photos?

They are used only to make your plan. They are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for that sole purpose, never used to train a model, and deleted automatically with your plan 30 days after upload. Please avoid photos in which a person can be recognized.

Can I get a refund?

Because your plan starts right after payment, you are asked to waive the withdrawal period at checkout. If your plan fails or a file is missing or unreadable, write to us: we fix it or refund you.
